Attached for your review is a complete copy of the Coastal Management Element. We will be discussing this element at your next meeting on September 2 at 7:00 P.M.

You previously reviewed an early draft of the data and analysis for this element (which at that time was combined with the Conservation Element). This new version contains considerable new material, plus a first draft of the goals, objectives, and policies.

We are scheduled to review a complete copy of the Conservation Element on October 7. The new Marine Resources Task Force is also in the process of reviewing both elements.

Also enclosed is a preliminary schedule for the remainder of our work preparing the comprehensive plan.
